Ship has been at the forefront of US cultural diplomacy through his award of two Fulbright Scholarships. Selected by the US State Department he was Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Charles University and University of Economics, Prague, where he taught future European leaders the critical role of the Civil Society Sector in democracies and how to manage them for maximum impact. His second Fulbright Award took him to the University of the Bahamas for the 2019-2020 academic year.
He has also been an adjunct faculty member at the Graduate School of Business at Southern New Hampshire University where he taught Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility.
He has an MPA from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a BA from Bates College.
